Join Leadership Studies as we read and discuss Brene Brown’s latest book, Daring Greatly:  How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.  The Wall Street Journal raves, “It offers good insights into how people don personal armor to shield themselves from vulnerability.”  

Come to our “brown bag” lunch sessions and share in the discussion on these three dates in the spring semester:

  1. Friday, February 8th, Noon-1:00 p.m. Pages 5-56 Defining Vulnerability:  “Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” (p. 30)
  2. Friday, March 1st, Noon-1:00 p.m. Pages 59-171 Understanding and Combating Shame: “What is shame and why is it so hard to talk about it?” (p. 68)
  3. Friday, March 29th, Noon-1:00 p.m. Pages 172-212 Cultivating Change in Ourselves and The World:  “A daring greatly culture is a culture of honest, constructive, and engaged feedback.”  (p. 197)
