  • Thu, Oct 10, 10-3, Grise 143: Passport Day – get/renew your passport
  • Oct 7: Priority Registration for Winter 2013 begins
  • Honors Development Grant (HDG):  HDGs provide students up to $500 for expenses directly associated with Honors courses and research, including presenting research at conferences and Capstone Experience/Thesis (CE/T) projects.  There are two deadlines in the Fall to apply for an HDG:  September 10 and October 22, 2013.  Detailed directions and advice for submitting an HDG and the application form can be found at: http://www3.wku.edu/honors/forms/honors-development-grant.php
  • Travel Abroad Grants (TAGs):  Students enrolled in a study abroad program for the Winter ’14 or Spring ’14 terms may apply for Travel Abroad Grant funding.  The deadline is October 25, 2013.  TAGs support study abroad for up to $500 for short courses, up to $1,000 for full-semester programs, and up to $1,500 for full-year programs.  Detailed directions and the application form can be found at:  http://www3.wku.edu/honors/forms/travel-abroad-grant.php.   • Oct 16: Last day to drop a class with a “W”
  • Wed, Oct 23, 7pm, Downing Student Union (DSU) Auditorium: Campus Sustainability Day: Chad Pegracke of Living Lands & Waters on Cleaning up the Mississippi River
  • Homecoming 2013 “Bright Lights, Red City:” Sat, Oct 26 – Football: WKU vs Troy (3pm kickoff)

  • Tea with OSD: Mon, Aug 26, 7.30 – 9am, Breezeway between the Honors Building and the Honors Annex:Get FREE donuts, FREE tea, and a FREE chat with Ms. Kirby-Stokes to set-up your appointment to discuss all the great scholarships you’ll be able to apply for this academic year.
